Q: What is the Sister Power Summit?

This summit will serve as a day of communication and networking to connect Austin area African American women entrepreneurs with each other for the purposes of resource sharing, career advancement and cross-patronage of female-owned businesses and services.

Q: When and where is the Sister Power Summit going to be held?

This year’s summit will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center, 1165 Angelina Street, in Austin, TX.

Q: What is the recommended attire for the day?

Business casual

Q: What is the cost to attend the Sister Power Summit?
A:
Early bird registration = $35.00 (valid through Sept. 16)
General registration = $50 (valid through Sept. 26 or until sold out)

Q: What is included in my registration fee?
A:
The registration fee covers a continental breakfast, admission to all general and breakout sessions, luncheon, access to the sponsor vendor & exhibitor area, and chance to win fabulous prizes. (Travel and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of each attendee).

Q: How can I register?
A:
Through our online registration system. Please be prepared to pay by a credit card. There is a $0.99 processing fee for all transactions.

Q: Will I receive a confirmation of my ticket purchase?
A:
Yes, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: All ticket purchases are non-refundable; however tickets are transferable. To transfer registration, the original registrant must email us the name and email address of who she wants to transfer her registration to. We will then contact the new registrant with the steps needed to complete the transfer request.

Q: Do you offer a group discount rate?
A: Yes. A discounted group rate is available for a minimum purchase of 10 registrations and is available to groups, corporations and organizations. Email us for additional information.
